What sets SITE Contracting apart from the rest?
As a team, we take pride in every single job we do. No job is too big or too small. No driveway or fence is too steep or too much of a challenge for us. We have the equipment and the expertise to deliver quality services from beginning to end. Plus, we always leave a tidy site and a happy customer.
Where are you based?
Our office, showroom, and yard are located at 6 Nancy Place, Cromwell. Our team services Central Otago, from Wanaka to Queenstown and the surrounding areas.
Do you have supply issues at the moment?
We source all our materials locally and have good relationships within our suppliers. We plan ahead and always have excess stock stored in our yard, so typically supply issues are not a problem for us.
How do you price a project?
We always send one of our construction specialists to visit the site and price the job. That way we can ensure it’s accurate, fair, and with no hidden costs.
Are sloping sites more expensive?
Our jobs are priced per square metre and lineal metre. The only exception is when excessive excavation is required, and this may incur additional costs.
How do you pour concrete in winter in Central Otago?
Prior to pouring concrete we use filter fabric and plastic over the top of our base course, which is removed prior to placing the concrete. Once the concrete has been finished, we cover the concrete again when it is hard enough, and keep our fans circulating air over the ground until it is set.
What is the best low maintenance fence option?
COLORSTEEL® fences are a great low maintenance, long term option. Unlike timber fencing, there’s no potential for movement. However, if you would like to use a timber fence, we will over-engineer it and select the best materials with the environment in mind to ensure longevity.
How long does a driveway or fence take to complete?
From start to finish most driveways and fencing projects can be completed within 5-7 working days. Variables like site access and weather may increase timeframe.
